Finalmente decidimos escaparnos de todo y recorrer el país en nuestro Ford Taunus. Somos dos amantes recorriendo el país, quién diría que así terminaría nuestro relato. 

Entre historias, momentos y risas se nos fueron 700km, lejos de lo que nosotros considerábamos hogar.

Alex me da su sangre, cosa que me ayuda a aguantar las noches de carretera. Y yo le doy mi sangre, para que no tenga que preocuparse en buscar alimento.

Cada pueblo que pasa es una oportunidad de sentirnos como extraños, de caminar de vuelta tranquilos sin la presión de mi familia, ni del consejo de vampiros.

Nuestra mayor preocupación actualmente es la nafta que nos aleja de la vida que dejamos, y eso es un alivio para nuestros corazones cansados.

Finally, we decided to escape from it all and travel the country in our Ford Taunus. We are two lovers exploring the land; who would have thought this is how our story would end.

Between stories, moments, and laughter, we covered 700km, far from what we once considered home.

Alex gives me his blood, which helps me endure the nights on the road. And I give him my blood, so he doesn’t have to worry about finding food.

Every town we pass is an opportunity to feel like strangers, to walk back peacefully without the pressure of my family or the vampire council.

Our biggest concern now is the gasoline that keeps us away from the life we left behind, and that is a relief for our weary hearts.
